ALS Awareness
Purpose: To raise awareness around Piedmont about ALS and to fundraise money.
Club President: Ted Adams

Asian American Donor Program Outreach Club
Purpose: To provide community service opportunities and help people from ethnic backgrounds find donor matchers. This would be in close coordination from the actual AADP so we would be able to provide more donors.
President: Samantha Lai

American Sign Language Club
Purpose: To educate people about deaf issues and culture through introduction of sign language and meeting members.
President: Nick Smith

Asian Student Union
Purpose: To educate the student body and community of Asian heritage and culture among the students and faculty themselves. Our aim is to promote cultural awareness through meetings and trips.
President: Michael Yu

Breakfast Club
Purpose: We have the desire to eat breakfast during the free period and/or before school.
President: Alec Petty

Breakers Club
Purpose: To promote B-Boying within Piedmont, and to educate the students on the dance.
President: Jonny Tran

Black Student Union
Purpose: To encourage others to bring diversity into PHS.
President: Monique Paige

Coffee
Purpose: To make everyone drink coffee and be all “sheesh y’all that were legits.”

Dance Club
Purpose: The Dance Club will meet frequently to practice technique and choreography (of dance club members) in various styles including modern/contemporary and hip hop. The club will perform at all possible occasions.

DJ/Production Club
Purpose: To teach and help students produce and perform music of any source using various music software and technology.
President: Joseph Chan

Film Club
Purpose: To watch and appreciate cinema, and to create a meeting place for those who want to make short films.
President: Aaron Abrams

Foodmont
Purpose: To learn to cook different foods.
President: Derek Cheung

Food For Thought
Purpose: To raise money to buy ingredients to make meals for the homeless.
President: Alyssa Lopez

Future business Leaders of America
Purpose: To introduce the business world to Piedmont high School.
President: Kevin Wu

Find Your Groove
Purpose: To promote learning of hip-hop choreography and become more experienced in dance in order to broaden the dance community at PHS.
President: Jonny Tran

Freestyle Skiing Club
Purpose: To get together and ski, watch ski films, talk about skiing and to teach and learn more about learning how to do tricks

Green Team
Purpose: We would like to increase the environmental awareness at PHS.

Hippie-Van Appreciation
Purpose: To appreciate Hippie Vans!
President: Maria-Elena Diaz

Investment Strategies & Economic Club
Purpose: To introduce investment and Wall Street, and economic policies. Our mission is to inspire and introduce strategies investment.

Jewish Student Union
Purpose: To provide a fun, engaging look in Judaism, and to allow Jewish and non-Jewish teens to experience some Jewish culture.

JSA – Junior Statesmen of America
Purpose: To educate the Piedmont High students about political debates, controversial topics, and public speaking. We want to bring our high school into a great program that benefits several high school schools in the U.S.

Key Club
Purpose: A community service club.

Le Cercle Français
Purpose: Our club will explore French culture and language to expand on the student body’s knowledge. We want to create a fun, creative environment for members to learn and understand more about the different cultures in the world around them.

Mathletes
Purpose: To share in our love of math through lunch meetings and math competitions.

PHS Chess
Purpose: To have people enjoy chess as much as possible.

Piedmont Community Service Crew
Purpose: Our crew is focused on planning and doing service work as a group that has a friendly, nurturing and open spirit.

Piedmont High Adventure Club
Purpose: A co-ed, youth led, high adventure group developing your leadership, planning, and outdoor skills.

Piedmont Manga Club
Purpose: Create a manga (Japanese comic) including character designs, lining, toning. Our goal is to create at least 4 pages every month.

Piedmont Police Explorers Post 911
Purpose: To stimulate confidence, maturity, leadership and independence by keeping busy on the right side of the law. “Pride, purpose, perseverance”

Queer Straight Alliance
Purpose: QSA’s mission is to bring together students from all sexual orientations, gender identities, and any other diverse backgrounds or experiences to make school a safer, more accepting and educated environment.

Random Acts of Kindness Club
Purpose: To brighten the Piedmont High school community by spreading kindness. We hope to encourage students to be positive, friendly influences on our community.

Sailing Club
Purpose: To plan sailing outings and practice for racing.

Scotbotics
Purpose: To compete in, and promote the values of, the FIRST Tech Challenge.

The A.V. Club
Purpose: Provide a place where students can freely talk about tech, get help with computer related problems and to learn about the IT industry.

Trading Card Guild
Purpose: Unite card players of Piedmont.
President: Robbie Diaz

Ukulele Club
Purpose: The PHS Ukulele Club seeks to promote and spread the love and joy of music. Too many students are stressed out, and need to take a step back, and relax with soothing ukulele music and smooth vocals.
