The Spring Rally, the last rally of the year was held on Friday March 29. It featured a wide range of performers, from sports captains to dancers to tag teams.

The rally was hosted by seniors Will Talcott and Georgia Hill, both of whom were decked out in orange to show pride for the senior class of 2013.

“We were super happy to have a lot of participation on all fronts, lots of enthusiasm and school spirit,” junior class president Cole Becker said.

The Breakerz did their last performance as a group at the rally.

“The last performance in the rally went really well,” junior Robert Yu said. “We achieved our goals of being clean, exciting, and entertaining. I thought that our outfits and our cleanliness captured all of the Breakerz’ hard work.”

All of the Breakerz will be graduating this spring except for Yu.

“It was a very nostalgic feeling, since this is the last time I’m going to be performing with the senior Breakerz. However, it was very enthralling to perform in the rally as ‘the Breakerz’ one last time,” Yu said. “The fact that it was the senior guys’ last rally made it all the more special. It caused us to work harder to achieve our goals.”

The rally also included a spicy prom invitation from senior Ryan Ellis to senior Claire Kingston, which she accepted.

“Ryan did a bomb job asking Claire to prom. He was looking suave and I loved his spin off of the Apollo Axe commercial,” senior Maddy Blemker said.
