Dear Reader,
In our ACL this issue, we take a closer look at what our student body did over the summer. Whether that be traveling across the globe or staying local, every student had a new experience. We wanted to highlight some people that make up our passionate and unique school.
The people at Piedmont are what makes our schools so successful. The staff, students, resources, and the spaces to learn and grow are what sets Piedmont apart. In this issue we cover students’ limited access to the library and how it has impacted the students and our school as a whole. We think it is a valuable topic to cover because of the significance of what the library can offer to our students that no other space can. Students need the learning space, access to learning resources, and the knowledge library staff hold to help with that corner of our education.
This is our first issue of the year and the TPH staff is beyond excited for the issues to come and an exciting year of journalism. In this issue we also introduce our new TPH mascot Scottie. We hope that students enjoy reading this issue and they look out for Scottie!
