On April second and third, PHS language students left for a foreign exchange program in France, Spain and China. Upon
arrival, French and Spanish students settled in with their host families and exchange partners after arriving, and accompa-
nied their partner to school. The Chinese students did not have a host family and met up eith their exchange partners later
in the trip. They all shadowed their partner’s schedule and after school and extracurricular activities. Students had activities with
their host families, as well as group excursions. The French students went on an excursion to Paris for the day, touring the Palace of
Versailles, observing 19th-century French art at Musee d’Orsay, and sightseeing castles. The Spanish students went on excursions
as a class, including a trip to Santiago de Compostela and Madrid to sightsee. The Chinese students liked visiting Jinli Old street,
visiting the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda breeding, visiting Mt. Qingcheng, a bicycle tour on the top of Ancient City Wall
and visited many historical landmarks, including the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum.
