Monday’s schedule will be modified for the MAP Growth reading assessment. Classes will be shortened to 30 minutes, leaving an hour and 40 minutes for testing. Students will take the assessment after 7th period, from 1:45 p.m. to 3:25 p.m., in their homeroom academy. Those who do not finish the test during the allotted time will be pulled from later classes, and absences from the test will be marked unexcused.
The digital assessment gauges student progress by testing them on literary text, informational text, and vocabulary. Results help teachers track student progress toward post-high school readiness.
