What are your hopes for the team this year and after?
“I hope our team can go into every game with a good mentality and trust each other. In the future, I am very excited for next years girls to be able to use the new pool and grow our program,” Olson said.
“This year, we have 11 girls on our team, seven of us are seniors. So if we can’t recruit, it’s looking like we won’t have a team for next year. For next year, my big hope is that as a team we will be able to encourage a lot of girls to try it next year, and it should be a lot easier with the Piedmont pool,” Jacoby said.
Boys Football

What have you learned from previous team captains that you want to bring to the team?
“I was a team captain last year but from previous team captains and the captains alongside me i’ve learned that your effort and attitude will reflect the team and especially your position group. You have to show that you want to be there and ball out, and your team will follow,” Kondakov said.
What are you most excited for this season?
“I am most excited for getting into the league and making a run to win league and go far into playoffs,” Worthen said.
“I’m most excited to play Hayward. They are a tough matchup with some college bound athletes, and I hope we come out the right way and go 2-0 on the,” Ashton said.
Girls Volleyball

What have you learned from previous team captains that you want to bring to the team?
“I’ve learned the importance of building a community in the team outside of the sport,” Sachs said.
What are you most excited for this season?
“I am excited for home games, I really want to push our volleyball team to win as many games [as possible],” Panico said.
What are your hopes for the team this year and after?
“My hope for this season is that we make it to NCS,” Wilk said.
Cross Country

What have you learned from previous team captains that you want to bring to the team?
“I learned the value of team bonding and encouraging and uplifting each other,” Sohn said.
What is an aspect of your sport that you enjoy but that people might not know about?
“I enjoy the challenge of pushing through pain and difficulty in races and workouts, along with the clear measurement of progression,” Ero said.
What are your hopes for the team this year and after?
“I hope that the team can go to state this year, we were really close last year and I hope that everyone stays healthy,” Chun said.
“For next year, I want the team to be really close knit so keeping that going is good. For this year, the goal is to qualify for state as a team, but more so everyone staying healthy and fit and thinking of it as a positive and fun experience,” Best said.
