What is an aspect of your sport that you enjoy but that people might not know about?
“The bond you make with the team and coaching staff,” Bornstein said.
“I love watching film and studying the game,” Lee said.
“Execution. The feeling of running a play to perfection
and getting exactly what we want out of the play. From
afar it just looks like people going through motions,
but really we have a purpose,” Brayer said.
What are your hopes for the team this year and after?
“This being my last year, we’re really trying to just go for the big ticket. NCS championship, any division really, winning league is awesome as well, and state championship, those are the three big goals,” Casey said.

What have you learned from previous team captains that you want to bring to the team?
“My freshman year, we had some really inspirational
team captains, and I think it was really interesting to be able to get close to someone who is in a different grade than us. They set the team culture, and I think that’s something really important,” Liu said.
“I still remember my first conversation with Hailey
Marshburn before the season in an elevator, she was so welcoming and supportive and she didn’t even know me yet. I wanted to be that supportive,” McKee said.
What are you most excited about for this season?
“I’m excited to play well. We have a solid team,” Sorensen-Wald said.
What is an aspect of your sport that you enjoy but that people might not know about?
“Its nice to take your stress out on the field,” Kwong said.

What have you learned from previous team captains that you want to bring to the team?
“I learned to make sure to talk with teammates, to give
them advice about things to do with their position. Another big thing I learned was like before the game, or at halftime, to give those talks to your team. That’s definitely a big thing for motivation,” Reed-Miguel said.
What are you most excited about for this season?
“I’m excited to get to know a new group of boys be-
cause we lost a lot of seniors, so it’s going to be a largely new team. I’m excited to see how our team dynamic works and have fun with new people,” DeVan said.
What is an aspect of your sport that you enjoy but that people might not know about?
“I would have to say an aspect I love is fitness, and running. I love running. I love running. I love excersise. I love that aspect of [soccer] that not many people know about,” Ahearn said.

What is an aspect of your sport that you enjoy but that people might not know about?
“I definitely would say putting my shots up and hang-
ing out with my teammates a lot. A lot of people don’t really hang out with their teammates as much, and bond, and so outside of school I make sure to talk to my teammates, have fun, and be there for everybody.”
Martin said.
What are you most excited about for this season?
“Getting better and making it to the playoffs and hope-
fully the championship,” Martin said.
What are your hopes for the team this year and after?
“[I hope we continue to] get better, stay together, not be rude to each other, and next year work on everything we can get better at as a team and individually, so that next year we can put it all together,” Martin said.
