What have you learned from previous team captains that you want to bring to the team?
“There was a senior while I was a freshman who literally just talked to me, and that’s all it took. So that’s what I’m trying to do. I’m just trying to make friends with the freshmen,” Kobal said
What are you most excited about for this season?
“Everyone thinks that it’s simple- most people just play their one specialized position, but to be truly good, you have to know how to play every position well,” Peterson said.
What is an aspect of your sport that you enjoy but
that people might not know about?
“It’s really fun, because it’s really fast paced and you have to be really engaged,” Kim said.

What have you learned from previous team captains
that you want to bring to the team?
“Something that I’ve learned from previous team captains is to lead by example and show up every day, and you know, do the things that you would want others to do” Waters Worthen said.
What are your hopes for the team this year and after?
“I mean, the biggest hope right now is we need to win. We want to win the WACC and just try to advance as many guys as we can. In the years after, keep doing the same thing. keep sending guys to Meet of Champs, Arcadia, State, Stanford, all that stuff. Let’s go all the
way,” Ma said.
What are you most excited about for this season?
“I’m most excited to get better at hitting PRs and helping my teammates get better at shotput and discus,” Kondakov said.
What is an aspect of your sport that you enjoy but that people might not know about?
“To be in a relay, specifically a four by one or a four by four, and either winning or PR, you’re just nailing a really good handoff that I think there’s just a level of fulfillment that’s really special,” Aubrecht said.

What have you learned from previous team captains
that you want to bring to the team?
“I think building a connection with the underclassmen. I remember being an underclassman on a team with AJ [Harris]. I really admired that, and he also did a really good job of building connections. I know as someone who’s younger that is looking up to someone that’s older, it means a lot. That carries on to my leadership roles to basketball and also lacrosse,” Brayer said.
What are your hopes for the team this year and
after?
“I want to end with a winning record and have the program bounce back, we’ve had a rough couple of years,” Kalamas said.

What are you most excited about for this season?
“I’m most excited about the team really bonding together and all of us working together to win games,” Sanford said.
What are your hopes for the team this year and after?
“Hopefully we can win WACC [West Alameda County Conference] this year and continue to grow as a team and work hard,” Segal said.
What is an aspect of your sport that you enjoy but that people might not know about?
“When you shoot, and it hits the post and makes a noise, it’s like the best thing ever. If it goes in, that’s even better,” Watson said.
